Have fun exploring basic concepts and guidelines for creating artistic line-based expressions using a pencil.
Learn to use contour line variations, tones and textures to create unique art forms. Practice shading and perspective techniques to give artwork depth and realism.
Subjects will include still lifes, landscapes and the human form.

Denny O'Meara has been drawing and creating art most of his life. A graduate of MSU in the Landscape Architecture program, he later taught at LCC for 36 years as a part-time instructor in design and construction. He also owned and operated a design and build firm for 40 years in the Lansing area.
In his spare time, he acquired a fine arts degree from LCC and loves teaching art!
